Simon Herland is a Finance Manager/Controller with international experience in project finance, business development, and stakeholder management in the maritime and cruise expedition industries. He currently works at Sea World Management S.A.M. in Monaco and previously headed finance at Nansen Polar Expeditions in Norway, where he raised over 90m NOK and managed budgeting and liquidity for rapid growth. He holds a 1st Class MSc in Energy, Trade and Finance and a 1st Class BSc in Management (Top 10) from Bayes Business School, with a strong record of leadership and awards. His core strengths include financing, budgeting, negotiation, relationship management, and advanced Excel/Office use, supported by multilingual skills and international internships in Uganda, Norway, and Brazil. He is also a published history author and former freelance film producer.
