I’m Cory Burry, Founder and CEO of Canadian Adventure Charters.
Canadian Adventure Charters is currently in the planning and early development stage. Our focus is on building a scalable, Canada-based expedition and research platform that integrates marine operations, scientific access, and emerging technologies—developed carefully, and in phases.
This initiative is rooted in Canada—particularly in the North—where environmental change is accelerating and where the need for capable, adaptable marine platforms continues to grow. Our intent is to contribute to that evolving landscape not as a conventional tourism company, but as a hybrid working vessel model.
While the operational platform is still being established, the groundwork has been underway for several years. We’ve assembled experienced captains, scientists, IT specialists, and operational leaders ready to activate as the platform comes online.
We’ve also aligned with media professionals to document both the environments and the work being carried out, supported by developed investor materials and technical frameworks.
The first stage of execution is focused: securing and deploying a capable expedition vessel. From there, we expand deliberately—integrating advanced capabilities such as remote sensing and aerial systems.
Canadian Adventure Charters is not being built on assumption. It is being built on experience, preparation, and a clear understanding of the environment in which it will operate.

- Canadian mariner and captain from Newfoundland with lifelong North Atlantic experience
- Commanded fishing vessels, government ships, and expedition platforms
- Extensive Arctic operational experience including remote project support
- Former building supervisor on northern infrastructure projects
- Founder of a marine & polar safety training school
- Background across fisheries, tourism, government operations, and Arctic logistics
